Music lessons are lively and interactive and aim to foster a passion for music.  Through playing, singing, listening, composing and performing, children will develop confidence, communication, thinking and creative skills and improve their emotional well-being. 

In Nursery and Reception, Music is linked to the specific learning area 'Expressive arts and design'.  In the Early Years, they use a topic approach.

In Year 1 and Year 2, we cover the requirements of the National Curriculum. Music is taught through a weekly discrete lesson. We also have a weekly music assembly.
