Our curriculum aims to inspire children’s curiosity and interest to explore the world that we live in and its people. We intend to equip children with geographical skills to develop their knowledge and understanding through studying both our local community and the wider world. 

In Nursery and Reception, Geography is linked to the specific learning area 'Understanding of the World'.  In the Early Years, they use a topic approach.

In Year 1 and Year 2, we cover the requirements of the National Curriculum. We have created our own bespoke curriculum.  Geography is taught once a week through a discrete lesson.
